Required Downloads:

PlayStation Vita with Custom Firmware

Adrenaline requires a PS Vita running CFW such as HENkaku or h-encore

PS Vita 1000 (Fat) Models require an official Sony Memory Card to install homebrew

Vita Homebrew Browser (Optional)

The Adrenaline app can be downloaded and installed directly using the Vita Homebrew Browser

Adrenaline can be easily installed without a PC using the Vita Homebrew Browser, a large repository for homebrew apps that can be downloaded directly to your Vita.

On your PS Vita, launch VitaShell and press the [Select] button to activate FTP or USB mode
In VitaShell, press [Start] and select [SELECT button] to toggle between FTP and USB mode.
- For FTP mode: enter the address displayed on your PS Vita in your PC file browser e.g. ftp://xxx.xxx.x.x:1337
- For USB mode: connect your USB to your computer and it will function as a USB storage device
- SD2Vita: simply connect your MicroSD card to your PC and transfer the files without VitaShell
On your PC file browser, go to ux0: and create a folder called vpk if it doesn’t already exist

When the transfer is complete, press [Circle] on your PS Vita to close FTP/USB mode
In VitaShell, go to ux0: -> /vpk/ then highlight Adrenaline.vpk
Press [Cross] to install it and confirm the extended permissions prompt
Close VitaShell when the installation is complete
Launch the new Adrenaline bubble in your LiveArea
Press [Cross] to download the ePSP Firmware 6.61 and Adrenaline will automatically close when complete
Launch Adrenaline again and press [Cross] to install Firmware 6.61
Press [Cross] when the process is complete to be sent to the PSP first time setup

To exit Adrenaline, hold the [PS] button and select [Adrenaline Settings] -> [Exit PspEmu Application].

Congratulations, you’ve installed Adrenaline for a fully functioning ePSP Firmware 6.61 that is compatible with homebrew.

All ePSP plugins (.prx) should be copied to the ux0:/pspemu/seplugins/ folder
PSP .iso and .cso files should be copied to ux:0/pspemu/ISO/
PSP and PSX EBOOT.PBP files should be copied to ux0:/pspemu/GAME/TITLE_ID/

PSX Disc images such as .iso, .bin/.cue and .img files need to be converted to EBOOT.PBP using PSX2PSP before they can be played on the ePSP.

Your installed game will appear in the PSP XMB -> [Game] -> [Memory Stick™].

Adrenaline brings a few neat features to the official PSP emulator such as save states, graphics filter presets and DS3/4 controller support. Just hold the [PS] button to open quick menu, then select [Adrenaline Settings] to open the ePSP settings

You can select [Open Official Settings] from the [Main] tab to access the official PSP emulator settings. You can find additional options such as assigning the touch screen and right thumbstick.
